EXPERIENCED SOFTWARE ENGINEER
SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY – GHENT, BELGIUM – FULL TIME
Geosparc is looking for an experienced and dynamic software engineer to strengthen its development team working on multiple projects.
About you
We’re looking for somebody with following qualifications:
- Masters degree in informatics / computer science or equivalent through work experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in Java and OO programming
- Proven track record in web development (preferably using javascript and GWT)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a project team
- Can do attitude
- Bi-lingual English, Dutch – any other language is welcome
- And, if you can add this to your resume that would be just perfect:
- Exposure to both software projects, consultancy (incl. customer interactions) and software product development
- Delivered solutions using agile methodologies (scrum, XP, etc.)
- Spatial software (GIS) and/or graphical software (SVG/VML)
- Interest/experience with FOSS software
